After graduating from Carleton University in 1994, Orang moved to Hong Kong and was involved in numerous large-scale projects in both Hong Kong and mainland China. It was there that he developed an appreciation of design as a unifying tool between individual ideology and cultural acceptance to create dynamic spaces. Having gained an inherent understanding for the importance of sustainable design, Orang obtained his Master’s degree in Architectural Conservation, with an interest in adaptive re-use of historic buildings, from the University of York in England. After obtaining his Master’s degree, he continued his architectural endeavours in Israel and Washington DC.
In 2007, Orang moved back to Toronto and joined Quadrangle Architects where he worked on various building types ranging from luxury residential condominiums to upscale retail projects. Through his years of experience, he understands the importance of design, technical expertise, communication and leadership as key components to a successful building projects.
